mini boat...

The dry dock float seems to dwarf the boat.
This boat is at Martha Cove marina.

crowded...

It can be a crowded house at Martha Cove marina in the summer season...

unusual name...

I see the boat name, but unsure of the letters.
Russian?
This boat was moored at Martha Cove marina.

Life's Good

Today is Australia Day.
So I thought that this boat was a good one to post in celebration.
It is leaving the Martha Cove marina and heading for Port Phillip Bay.

well-protected...

A well-protected boat berthed at Martha Cove marina.
More and more I am seeing smaller boats raised above the water like this.

Bad Boy

I liked the cheeky fish features next to the Bad Boy name.
This boat was berthed at Martha Cove marina.

Four Winns in Black and Yellow and White

One of many Four Winns models berthed at Martha Cove marina.
Not often have I seen black feature as a colour on a boat - especially on the hull.

Aquitane...

Stylish white boat berthed at the Martha Cove marina.
It looks either very well maintained or very new.
The partial roofline - canopy effect + the extra wheel element intrigued me.

Environment Protection Authority

I was surprised to see this Environment Protection Authority boat moored at Martha Cove marina.
But a cafe is nearby, just beyond the little ramp on the left.
Perhaps that is the clue.

CMA CGM passes by...

CMA CGM cargo ship, passing Dromana beach on Port Phillip Bay, as it heads to Port Melbourne.
In October 2013, CMA CGM won the Environment Award at the Global Freight awards.
A special interest of the group involves humanitarian aid to Africa, known as Containers of Hope.

Cargo boat offshore from Dromana beach
MOL (Mitsui O.S.K. Lines) is an international Japanese shipping enterprise, operating since 1884.
April 2014 will be its 130th anniversary.

Crowded House

Crowded House is a racing yacht, part of the Brighton Yacht Club,
but here it was seen moored at Martha Cove marina.
How ironic that the photo could only manage a crowded house of  "paraphernalia" too.

Watching the Boats

I like this photo for its novelty value.
Not often is a kookaburra seen appearing to watch a passing cargo ship.
This photo was taken at the top of Arthurs Seat mountain overlooking Port Phillip Bay.

Pilot Boat

It seems symbolic and right to choose a pilot boat for New Year's Day.
This one is crossing Port Phillip Bay from Queenscliff, near The Rip - entrance to Port Phillip Bay.

Happy New Year
